This Shangri-La does not meet the standards other Shangri-La locations in Asia. However, it has recently been renovated and is in the middle of the Rocks District which means it is a great location for wandering around and exploring. The service is average, but the rooms are a good size, and the views of Harbour Bridge and the Opera House are amazing especially from the bar and restaurant on the 36th floor.
