This is not an ancient building like some you will find in Prague, but this 19th century edifice has a rich history. The location is superb and you will be looking down on the spectacular Vysehrad fortress and will know that you have a real bird’s eye view. All of the sleeping rooms are beautifully decorated and those in the luxury class have a soft colored décor. The suites are done up in a similar fashion. The former apartment of a famous Czech artist has been turned into a set of rooms with the original mosaic flooring completely restored. If you enjoy great architectural details like frescoes, marble staircases, and ornate ceilings, then you will surely be happy to have found this lovely hotel.
