This incredible resort next to a desert hillside offers a beautiful white-sand beach and coral reef, which are amazing for scuba diving. The staff is flawless, the rooms have tasteful furnishings, and the gardens are gorgeous. The food could be better, though.

Located on the southern tip of the sinai peninsula, the five-star Four Seasons Sharm El Sheik just fronts the Red Sea.
